Membership Terms and Conditions
This document sets out the Terms upon which Network My Club Ltd (“NMC”) will provide membership of the Network Albion Business Club (“NABC”) to you (the “Membership”). Agreeing to these Terms signifies your acceptance of these Terms and your agreement to comply strictly with them.
1. BOOKINGS & MEMBERSHIP
1.1 The Membership booking will be deemed accepted by NMC upon receipt of a duly and validly completed membership joining form and payment.
A CONFIRMED BOOKING CREATES A BINDING CONTRACT BY WHICH YOU AGREE TO PURCHASE AND NMC AGREES TO SUPPLY THE MEMBERSHIP ON THESE TERMS. ONCE A BOOKING IS CONFIRMED YOU MAY ONLY CANCEL IT OR REARRANGE IT IN ACCORDANCE WITH CLAUSE 5.
1.2 Members pay an annual subscription fee in return for benefits that are accorded to member companies. These include invitations for twelve monthly networking events, company profile on NABC website, use of the NABC logo (subject to brand guidelines) and other services, both online and offline, designed to increase brand awareness opportunities for each of its members.
2. CONDUCT ON NABC WEBSITE
2.1 You acknowledge that your company are responsible for interactions with other members/users of the NABC site and that you are responsible for all materials that you publish or post to the site or transmit to other users of this site.
2.2 You agree that you will not publish, post or transmit on the site material that could be deemed offensive or abusive in tone, inaccurate, obscene, blasphemous, threatening, harassing, racially offensive, offensive to any religion, or illegal, or any material that infringes or violates another party’s rights.
2.3 You agree not to post, distribute or reproduce in any way any copyrighted material, trademarks or other proprietary information without obtaining the prior consent of the owner of such proprietary rights.
2.4 NMC reserve the right to suspend or remove your company page and it’s related offers should your content be deemed unacceptable or offensive.
2.5 You agree not to transmit any chain letters, spam letters, or junk email to other members, not to participate in mischievous or malicious behaviour which causes damage or may cause damage to NMC and/or NABC.
2.6 You are responsible for safeguarding all usernames, passwords and other security measures relating to your use of the NABC website. We are not responsible for any use of the website by someone else using your account details, and you will indemnify us against all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, costs and expenses arising out of any such use, whether with or without your authority.
3.1 Payment is made in full upon completing the Membership joining form or via monthly direct debit (via GoCardless or Stripe).
3.2 NMC reserve the right to cancel the Membership (without liability) and apply the cancellation charges set out in Clause 5 in the event that payment is not received within the time limits specified in clause 3.1 above.
3.3 Full Membership benefits will not be released until NMC is in receipt of cleared funds in payment of the Membership.
3.4 In the event of a failed direct debit payment, NMC reserve the right to temporarily suspend the Membership until payment is made.
4. PRIVACY AND DATA
4.1 All personal and corporate information received is only used by NMC for its own business purposes. We act in accordance with UK Data Law and will not pass on or sell your personal information and have no intention of sharing your data with third-parties for marketing purposes.
4.2 By becoming a member or attending an event, you hereby agree to receive communication via email regarding upcoming events, news and offers. We will only hold the information provided on the membership application or booking form on file, and use for communication and delivery of membership benefit purposes only.
4.3 Photographers may be present during some NABC events and some group photographs may be taken and used by NMC for media and marketing purposes. By making the booking you hereby consent to your image, name and the name of your organisation being used in this way. You further undertake to obtain the consent of your guests to such use. If you have any concerns or would like to discuss this further, please contact the NMC team.
5.1 Each member company is granted one representative to monthly NABC networking events. Additional representatives are welcome to attend but are subject to members rate event charges as announced.
5.2 NMC may host events outside of the planned twelve monthly networking events, of which are not included in membership.
5.3 All companies and their representatives must book in advance of the event they wish to attend through the online booking system. Prior booking is a prerequisite of admittance. Where no booking is made, entry cannot be guaranteed. In circumstances where no booking has been received, NMC can only permit entry subject to the host venue's agreement with NMC and is permitted subject to full payment being received within 24 hours.
5.4 Cancellations and refunds are only accepted when made at least 3 days before the event. In such circumstances, we will attempt to offer a full refund if the booking has been paid for in advance or transfer the booking to another event. All refunds and transfers are at the discretion of NMC.
5.5 NMC and Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club Ltd reserve the right to reschedule or cancel any NABC events, should a first team fixture be scheduled for the date of the event or if a first team fixture conflicts with the organisation of a NABC event. This also applies to any events beyond the control of NMC and Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club Ltd. Prior notice will be provided at the earliest opportunity, and you are guaranteed the invitation to attend the event when reorganised during the term of your Membership.
5.6 NABC events are subject to content and key speaker change without notice.
5.7 All data collected when booking is subject to our Privacy terms above.
6. MEMBERSHIP CANCELLATION & CHARGES
6.1 In the event a member wants to cancel the Membership during your term, NMC reserve the right to apply a £50 cancellation fee.
6.2 If membership payment is by method of Direct Debit, a minimum of twelve months membership is required before cancellation. Should a member wish to cancel membership before the minimum twelve months, they will be required to complete full payment for that period of twelve months membership.
6.3 To cancel the Membership, please inform the NABC account manager.
6.4 The cancelling member forfeits all rights of attendance of NABC events. If anyone at your company wishes to attend a future event, the company will have to rejoin NABC.
7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
7.1 At NABC events, NMC shall not:-
7.1.1 be liable for damage to, or loss of, any of your goods or property or that of your guests which are brought into the venue. Any members or guests bringing possessions into an event organised by NMC do so at their own risk.
7.1.2 be liable for any other losses, claims, demands, actions, proceedings, damages, costs, expenses or other liabilities which you or any of your guests may incur or suffer otherwise than in accordance with Clauses 7.1.1 and 7.1.2.
7.2. Any event hosted at the American Express Community Stadium will be subject to Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club’s events terms and conditions.
8.1 These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Court.
